He’d slice defenses up as a part of the starting five.

We have no direction on offense. Yes, this offense was supposed to run through Zion, but we looked absolutely lost at times.

We’re missing a true point guard. I hope Lonzo pulls it together because the talent is there.

Offense ain’t the issue here. They can put points on the board with the best of them. They can’t stop a black hole on defense. Defense is only good for a stretch in the game. That’s not good enough.

No, the 1st quarter is exactly what you expect from this team. After that awesome first, the bench came in and crapped the bed for far too long and the starters came back cold, with no motion and lost the lead.

Sorry, but this is a bad take. Rondo is truly terrible on defense these days. He's not good enough to get minutes on this year's team.

You’re thinking of 2017 Playoff Rondo. That guy no longer exists.

Jesus, this place is really showing its arse.

You know that Rondo is a defensive black hole right? Or that his outside shot makes Lonzo look like Kyle Korver? Or that he's not been a part of a net positive lineup since he left New Orleans?

Lonzo is literally young Rondo with a higher ceiling. This place is so stupid. You should feel stupid.

When there is good ball movement , we’re
Terrific. Pass and move. We’ll be fine, especially if Zion can hit shots consistently away from the basket.

As someone that has been super harsh on Lonzo in the past, it feels weird to say, but with the quick improvement in Lonzo's FT & jumper (and hopefully continued improvement), I'm fairly confident in him.

He is is already far superior than Rondo on defense and his shooting is at the very least are in the same ballpark as Rondo.

The biggest difference between Rondo & Lonzo is that Rondo commanded the offense. He did more than just rack up assists. Lonzo needs to set the pace & get his teammates the best spots. He gets rid of the ball too quickly, can be out of control, and doesn't attack enough to draw defenders.

Lonzo might get assist numbers, but he doesn't set the table like BI, Jrue, or NAW do. Once he learns how to be a PG, I think he'll look like an entirely new player. Just give him some time.

still cannot believe those words are coming out of my mouth
