It's obvious we need bench and a 3. It's also obvious that this team has some great pieces, but they need to develop.
Rivers is not very good overall, but he does get to the basket and his defense last night was pretty damn good. He needs to learn how to use his left hand and finish.
Davis looked like he was gonna go off, but Monty pulled him. Of you look at davis' interactions with the refs, thy was probably why he pulled him. One time in the second, Monty grabbed ADs arm, said "you can't act like that" and put him on the bench.
We know what we have in Anderson and gravy is now fine tuning his game. Buckey is what buckey is. Monty recognizes this and is dishing minutes accordingly.
Yeah, I wanted to win too but this team is developing and that is more important right now.

Monty could be limiting Davis due to his earlier injuries and the length of the NBA season. Last year Kentucky played 44 games total and right now the Hornets are on their 45th game. He could just be bringing him slowly along to adjust to the grind of the season. With his age and growth, you don't want to put to much strain on him if you can help it
