This loss should cement the fact this team will do nothing with Willy as coach

Everything in their favor.

Second night of a back to back for Minny
Gobert benched
Ingram has 21 in the first quarter

Still, Green puts in the stupidest lineup possible in the 4th quarter and this team blows a double digit lead despite all the advantages.

Willy is simply a bad coach and should be fired. He won’t be, which should tell you all you need to know about Griffin and the Pels moving forward, but just damn what a waste.

I think it's too early to give up on him. We all wanted a young, up&comer. you have to go with the growing pains with that type of coach.

If you move on again, this team will really be directionless.

Got a 4th foul on KAT with Gobert not available and then just let him chill on defense for the rest of the game

While I kind of agree with you, he’s still doing the same shitty shite as last year. There has been no growth.

Im done with willie. Constantly struggles to have the team even pass in bounds on baseline plays. Constantly making stupid turnovers, dumb rotations. A motivator only gets you so far, and no where when you have no superstar.

Case and point: ed orgeron

He is in over his head. He desperately needs a solid staff. The staff needs to be overhauled.

Would be nice if Mike Diantoni would take on a larger role.

Think about it. You really want to take a manor role implementing an offense with a team who is constantly missing its biggest offensive weapons??? Screw that. He’ll just enjoy his partial retirement lol

Look at the Kings and OKC’s offenses. We are not in the same universe as them wrt ball movement. I’ve lost faith in this staff to recognize what’s going on and make adjustments in game.

The fact y’all still support the team is a focking joke. The star player doesn’t care. Why should the fans?

I can’t wait for us to fire a young coach and then like five years down the line everyone will bitch and moan about how great that coach is now. And romanticize his time in New Orleans.

It’s almost like it’s happened before or something.

Playing Richardson at all in this game, much less during nearly the entire 4th quarter alone should get him fired. Richardson was awful, and made people miss Graham. Think about that.

Griffin and Green are just morons at times and it shows. This is not about growing. Monty grew, but even he didn't have anywhere near this talent after year 1 even with the injuries this season. They have lost inexplicably in multiple games and if you realize they likely should have lost the game before this one because of utter stupidity, then it makes it even worse.

Best case scenario for them at this point is to lose to OKC, and then hope OKC beats Minny or Lakers to help them get one more spot higher in the lottery. Not that it will matter.

Willie isn’t getting fired. If he gets fired, I’d imagine Griff is too

Yeah agree. We can bitch all we want but first winning season since 2017 and back to back postseasons with an injured roster. That doesn’t let them off the hook though. Griff has no shooting, shotblocking or even a pg on this roster. Willie’s in game adjustments and rotations have been horrible.
