You two are the main culprits of always finding a negative about Z regardless of circumstance. But fair enough, I will leave you be going forward since it bothers you.

Z and TM3 have a plus-minus rating of a negative 1.7 this year compared to Z and BI rating of a plus 13.2 last season. The numbers are not surprising since the team won 49 games in 2024.
But the minus 1.7 rating raises the question about the fit between Z and TM. I think the stat is explained by the defensive deficiency of the two players. Folks judge players by their offensive stats as opposed to a net rating. Maybe the real star on this team is Herb.

Zion and Trey have a -0.5 +/- rating for the season.
While Ingram Zion have a -1.5 +/- rating this year.

There’s no fit problems between those two. They’re staggering them as 1a/1b right now minutes wise on top of Z’s minutes restriction, I’m guessing to get TM3 the ball in his hands more?
Whenever they’ve worked together in the past in the PNR, it’s been awesome. I don’t worry about that. Let TM3 figure out playmaking now so that PNR can be even more lethal.
I think we get one of the next 2 games much to the chagrin of this board. TM3/Z due bounce backs and I don’t see who guards Z for PHX.
