You trade Zion while you can get a player like Durant for 4 years. Zion won’t want to be here for the long term anyway. Make the move and don’t regret it. With Durant we are a championship contender.

Why are we mad about this? I view it as a sign of respect for our roster, which is pretty rare historically. They're not even using the tired argument of trade Zion for KD because Zion always wanted to be in NYC.

I feel like that’s pretty much what we all expect though. No need to make any big splashy moves yet because first we are still -1 roster spot and two we have a great group with plenty of wings and young guards. If all we do is take care of the extensions in the next few days I think it’s a win
