I’ve been saying it for some time. Griff is the first domino that needs to fall after tonight. He doesn’t need to be in charge of hiring a 3rd coach or not, and he doesn’t need to be involved with deciding BIs future, or our draft assets. And he certainly doesn’t need to be involved with picking our next center, something he’s failed miserably at in 5 years.

I don’t disagree with you here. But I just don’t see this happening. I think unfortunately it will take a lot for him to get fired.

It's amazing the pass some of y'all give Zion,
Zion's inability to be a professional for a full season does not mean that Griff hasn't had his frick ups.

The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.

People are giving him a pass this year only
Right, but we shouldn't.

He played over half the season out of shape and not giving enough effort.

It's great that the final 2 months the light bulb seemed to go off and we saw the best Zion we've seen, that's super.

But IMO he shouldn't get a pass for the 1st 4 months. The whole point is to show up day 1 in camp in the best possible shape. And if you're the best player, you should be in better shape than any other player on this team, not dead last. Had he did that, and all we're asking here is to be a professional, this team wins well over 50 games and is a top 4 seed.

I'd argue that it's Griff's job more than anything else, to ensure the face of his franchise is bought in. Whether it's doing it himself or through the coach Griff has...your main job is keep the face of the franchise happy, engaged, and all in and that hasn't happened for a full season in 5 years now. Griff shares some responsibility in that as well.

All of the teams you name didn't have there franchise player being hurt literally every season he has been in the league.

You mean the clippers?
Kawhi has done nothing for them.

Gayle Benson is the problem, because she is satisfied with this shite show.
It's time to clean house, Willie and Griff need to be fired.
