4-18 shooting as well (2-14 from three). That and the perimeter defense definitely the reasons we dropped tonight's game.

We need to make shots, plain and simple. JV stepped up.

Herb just isn't a great shooter.
The hot Jose is not hot anymore.
Naji isn't a great shooter.
All the hype on our bench is over done, need to make shots.

Most Importantly, why is trey not playing more? Defense ? whats more important?

I said Celtics and Bucks were a step ahead of us and it showed last night.

I feel like when Willie sees any aspect of the team struggling his reaction 85% of the time is to go smaller and lean all the way in on defense.

Not sure it's always the best solution.

At the end of the day the Bucks are IMO the best team in the league when healthy, and still top 3 without Middleton, so all things can go right and you'll still lose to a team like that.

But I do think Willie's inclination to sell out the offense to maximize his defense can be self-defeating and sort of runs counter to what is working best in the league right now.

And at home too...thats really the only time they are good. That is where your bench should be at your best. No worry though its a long season and they will have more opportunity to feed on trash teams.

I wouldn’t agree with that. They had a bad game. First thing is Trey comes off the bench for BI, 2nd Nance didn’t play and he’s a big time contributor off the bench, 3rd Jose isn’t playing healthy. We know he’s got hurt ribs. It was also just one of those nights where guys weren’t on. Naji has improved big time as a playmaker, is a good defender and a vocal leader at times, and can get his own shot pretty well. Billy just didn’t play well.
Don’t undersell our bench, we are just in a funk. We also easily could’ve won 3 out of the last 4, we just haven’t finished games in the final minutes recently.
Flock up! Its a long season
