T. Jones just signed a one year contract with a team in China for 2 million.

Go look at his shot chart. The only place he's really effective from is the paint but he takes a lot of shots outside of the paint. He's an inefficient chucker and those guys don't fit the new NBA that focuses on finding the most efficient shot each possession.

His agent flat out boned him after the Cousins trade. He could have been playing decent minutes next to two legit bigs off the bench. Instead, the team did him a "solid" and let him go find a team to get minutes on. National media thought that there might have been a falling out. I think his reputation took a hit through all of that nonsense as well.

I'd bet nearly every team in the league is paying someone worse than Jones 2+ million/year....
