If we're looking for a quality starter and are keeping Ingram/Lonzo that would say Center is the place we need a quality starter. Remember when we a thread a few days ago that said Indy was interested giving up a center for #4 and stuff?

I don't know how Indy feels but I think the Pels would like

Myles Turner and Aaron Holiday

for

Solo/Moore/#4/Future somethings(2nds/1st)

trying to give the Pelicans all of the Holidays

I’d be ecstatic with Myles Turner

Most of the starting centers I'm seeing are guys they would have to pay US to take, especially at the salaries I'm seeing.

Could we get 18 instead of Aaron?

Yeah, Myles Turner, a bonafide 3 & D guy, is the perfect big man fit next to Zion.

I don’t think we’re done yet. Hopefully, Griffin has another trick up his sleeve.

You're not thinking this through. If you get Aaron then Justin will come for cheap. Then when Lavar tries to push his sons onto the Pels they can tell him we already have the 3 brothers marketing angle covered.

Beal or Bust

You would trade the 4th for a guy who could leave in two seasons? Doesn't seem smart especially for a team that's rebuilding.

I agree with that. The reason the deal was agreed upon today was to give the Pelicans the opportunity focus on secondary trades prior to draft night. I think they felt this was all they could shake the Lakers for so it was time to move forward. It's going to be an exciting week to see how everything plays out.

Not to mention the Lakers leak everything. Turning talks over the 4 pick plus Ball/Moore/Hill into 2 team talks instead of 3 team talks probably helps the Pels.
