Could you imagine making this trade, getting to the finals against the Nets, and Kyrie can't play when we go to Brooklyn?
The crazy part is, he could play.

The rule is so dumb that only the player who lives/works in that town can't play. So if Kyrie were in New Orleans or any other place that doesn't have that mandate, Kyrie could play in every game in any town.

I am down for it...he can play in pretty much every game outside of New York and Californi

Pretty sure visiting unvaxxed players can play in NY and CA. It makes no sense but I believe that is the case.

Could you imagine going to finals against Brooklyn and HE COULD PLAY. That would be the cherry on top.

Does that stop him from performing on court?

I mean...yes?

He missed several games in the past few years for "personal time" aka he's nuts. And he's missing the entire year this year.

Right, not sure how he came up with "no" as the answer to that question.

Take that, and add in the injuries and him missing more playoff games than he plays in, it would be a massive waste of our player/draft assets for 1 year of a dude who gives you more of an unknown than any other player in the NBA.

Also I have no idea on how we could make a trade work financially without trading BI or Val.

Sato and Devonta would definitely have to go out, but we are still short a bunch, and I don't think Hart can be traded for awhile.

Graham too may not be able to be traded for a while, right?

2 of Graham/Jval/Hart/Sato plus filler would get it done. I don't know I'd go as far as saying it would make the Nets better but the Nets adding Graham+Jval would give them just an absurdly good team.

Yeah Graham can’t be traded yet.

Numbers don’t work with only 2. We need to send out 34ish I think.

Yea, we could probably send a bit less than $34m as I understand. I think with Temple/Didi/Kira/Naji/Willy it wouldn't be hard to use 1-2 of those guys to get to the number needed to match on this trade we're talking about that would never happen lol.

Is he an absolute delusional muppet? Yes.

Would I want him here? Yes.

We’re the Pelicans; we’ve never won a thing and have nothing to lose. Go for the high risk/high reward.

Of course liberals came up with these rules/laws so of course they make no sense whatsoever….

Kyrie gets sent to one of about 25 teams and he is good. Which is why I figure a trade of him for Simmons is likely a possibility.

LOLOLOL. It turns out that Ben Simmons is also unvaccinated. So, I don't think that Brooklyn is going to make that trade.

Irving and Simmons are the exact type of guys we should never go after again.

If we are just talking about Basketball skills then I would agree with Simmons but not Kyrie. I think Kyrie would fit quite well.

Seriously, what would it take for this to happen? Who/What would we have to give up?
