I thought I saw something saying that Gentry wanted Frank to be the leader and “star” for the summer league team

Didi is in the same trade as Hayes and NAW

No one ever told me if we can play him in the summer league without starting his two-year clock. And no one has in any way confirmed that he'll be playing in the summer league.

Second-round pick Didi Sliva will also join Hayes and Alexander-Walker in Vegas once the AD trade is complete, per sources.

So will they be able to practice with the team at the minicamp?

just saw that. I knew he was apart of the trade but didn't know if he was a draft & stash or if he'd come over immediately

They have very high hopes for him. I think the plan is to have him play in 3 games.

what are their thought on Christian Wood & Kendrich Williams?

Seeing them on the summer league roster feels like a way to evaluate both for a roster spot

It's great that we'll see Silva in the summer league. But we still don't know the staff's plans for him as yet, do we? I think we've all assumed that he's going to be stashed for a year or two, but if he balls out in the summer league, then maybe not?

It's just more experience and practice time. No reason not to include them. They are the two most likely to be cut should they sign someone else or another trade shakes up the roster.

Unless he totally balls out in SL I don't see a roster spot for him. I think we can safely assume he's a draft and stash.

The roster that the Pelicans email sent did not have any of the first round picks besides Zion.

Probably because we don’t officially have either until the trade executes on July 6.
