Strategy for playing AD the rest of the season

Based on the NBA threatening the team with significant penalties if they don't cow tow to AD's demands to play, the team should try the following:
1) Play him as many minutes as he's average at the beginning of games.
2) Run game plans that minimize his role as much as possible.
3) Pull him when it is a key moment in the game, such as the closing 5 minutes.
4) Run defenses that will force him to foul and potentially foul out continually or be seen as a player that doesn't care and isn't trying.
Fans:
1) Boo him from time to time, but once he has the ball just go silent and cheer crazily for all other Pelicans players.
2) Don't cheer his great plays, dunks, etc. Just be silent. Don't give him praise or reward for anything.

How about we just play like normal. People will boo when they want. Davis will probably cry in the locker room and quit after a few games. There really doesn't have to be a master plan..

Threaten that if he gets hurt he's being traded to Cleveland.
He'd move on, but he'd have to live in Cleveland for a year.
Should be enough incentive to keep him from diving for loose balls or playing physical.

Play him all 48 minutes. No breaks dude better hope he fouls out.

From Woj on what the strategy is:
quote:
Here’s what to expect with Anthony Davis’ usage the rest of way with Pelicans: Fewer, if any, back-to-backs and a reduction in minutes from his 37 per game.

Woj stating the obvious I see.

No back to backs
20-25 mins a game
They can take it or leave it

Damn, that requires a lot of organization by the fans. I hope there are no boos. That’s just too obvious and trashy.

Boos are trashy? How else would people root against the other team? There are cheers, boos and silence. Removing one would just be unnatural..
