Adams is going to be a hell of a fit for multiple reasons.

In my opinion, I think it’s best to find a way to package Bledsoe for something and start JJ with Adams. I think Ball, JJ (for floor spacing), BI, Zion, and Adams would make sense.

One thing is for sure to me with Adams though is that we do still need to find a way to add more floor spacing. Starting Lonzo, Adams and Zion is somewhat of a problem.

If you can move Lonzo or someone else for some floor spacing wings that’s kind of what you need to do at this point.

If you’re keeping Hill, then Hill and JJ will need to be in the game a lot when Adams and Zion are.

Offensively Adams doesn't do the one thing I was hoping we would find in a big. Other than that, he does EVERYTHING else at an elite level. Everyone basically calling him a bad asset and bad contract haven't actually watched him.

He is a 5 that will give you 25 HARD minutes a game, and rarely misses any games. He can and will take on and pretty much bully the Jokic, Lopez, Howard and Embiid's, which was a HUGE problem for us last year.

Also, I would like to add, Lakers are going smaller with Harrel I guess at the 4, so I can't wait for the first game to see Adams make AD his bitch

Not really, Lonzo hit what 38-40% of his catch and shoot 3's last year?

Zion and Adams will have alot of defenses playing inside more (even though it may get crowded), that will leave Lonzo wide open for those C&S shots.

Yeah we got our arse absolutely kicked by like every traditional Center last year or offensive big. Won’t happen this year.

We also got our arse kicked by big wings so that’s still an issue though.

These are the guys we have under contract:

JJ
Lonzo
Zion
Hayes
Melli
Hart
NAW
Miller (non guaranteed)
Bledsoe (pending)
Hill (pending)
Kira (hold)

Every single player on that list is a positive asset. I believe we need to send out in the ballpark of $27.5M to get back Adams. There is just no way we send out a first, 2 seconds, and multiple positive asset players for a year of Adams at $27.5M. I think there will almost certainly need to be another team significantly involved.

I wouldn’t worry too much about spacing. Our offense was still one of the best last year with Favors starting. It’s going to be hard to get a rebound over Adams and Williamson.

Adams is a huge upgrade from Favors. Huge.

But spacing still is something to concern ourselves with. And Wing depth.

Zion has this uncanny ability to just will himself to the basket no matter who's there. I think the projected cramped spacing would hurt mere mortals than it will Zion

And if he misses, there's no one in the league better equipped to grab their own board. Adams will eat the rest

Love it. Now we just need to dump ball and get someone who can shoot. Man I wish bogdanovic wanted to play here.

For those of you who hated Jimmy fans and Lonzo stans....you better not say anything bad about Steven Adam's when he struggles because you will have a whole country of crazy mother frickers coming after you!

Adams is only 27 years old also. He was playing hurt in the bubble. Dude is a tank. I wish we had picked up Joe Harris. He would have been perfect for us.

Harris got almost 20 million a year. We couldn't nor would give him that.

Didn’t see he got 4/75. Holy crap what an overpay for a shooter.

The two most elite shooters in FA

Harris 4/75
Bertans 5/80

If you're really, really, really good at shooting and not much else, never fear, NBA owners are here. Help yourself to at least 15 mil per.

I wonder if Nesmith will follow in line one day

It doesn’t matter as much if no one cares and he has no gravity.

My guess is Melli and Miller are dealt to make this work in some capacity. Hill flipped to a third team.
