it’s kind of a good thing, it’ll keep the team focused. Suns looked rattled after Game 1 because of the 3rd quarter.

The only time I ever really go look to see what SAS has to say about anything is when it involves the Cowboys because he takes trolling that fanbase to an unreal level and makes me laugh. Other than that he's worthless.

Yep...i remember after a utah game one of their players got on a reporter because said reporter was saying it was an embarrassing loss. I think it was mitchell that told the reporter that we were real

I saw that and laughed.

I had the displeasure of putting on ESPN radio and heard Bart Scott open his yap, as if he knows a thing.

He is regularly insulting and dismissive of New Orleans in general, and was on again today saying its going to be 4-1 Suns and we stink, and that Zion needs to go to New York because there ain't nothing to do in New Orleans etcetc

Here's what will happen.

This run will lead to positive coverage of the Pels next year, especially if the Pels are good.

Pels will get 1, maybe two years of positive media coverage.

And if they haven't won a championship, the calls to blow it up and send BI/CJ/Zion to "real" contenders will start again.

Hey, someone who remembers the 2018 playoffs and all the positive news coverage of an AD-Jrue core and all the positive feelings us fans had that offseason before things happened.

I hear you, but AD had already told all of his teammates that offseason he was out, and apparently everyone in the league and media knew already.

And we started out like shite.

I'm talking about if we have a good offseason and are playing well to start the year, you are going to get some positive coverage.

That will maybe last a year or two.

We were winning before Booker left the game. Even if he doesn’t get hurt…anyone that wasn’t biased would say the pels weren’t gonna be denied last night.

I dunno if we win with booker on the floor, but that shite was going to come down to the last few shots and when that is the case, we had a chance.

Without booker, they are cooked.

I don't understand people who say this. NOLA has it's share of problems like crime and homelessness and I get anxiety when I visit, but nothing to do? Bruh there's casinos, clubs for all variety of crowds, 24/7 alcohol sales, plenty of great restaurants, music venues, festival venues, theater venues, an aquarium and zoo and of course sports teams. What, pray tell, are people talking about when they say there's nothing to do? If you can't find anything to do in NOLA then it's a you problem.

But what is this "nothing"? It's not even regarding him specifically, I've heard it from a lot of people over they years. What things to do are they referring to that NOLA doesn't have?

I'm sure he's referring to the high end nightclub and strip club scene that NY, LA, Miami, ATL have.

Something that ultra-rich black athletes in their 20s woud presumably desire.

I saw that but skip was saying before we beat the clippers that we were a cute story and the clippers were about to clip our wings. He’s so biased, and changed his tune completely after 1 week and 3 games because he actually watched a game. His basketball credibility is low. I like Shannon though. Except he’s a Lebron groupie

The media was convinced the pels had a horrible off-season and now have to eat crow.

I for one just don't pay any attention to it because these same idiots were convinced the Lakers should get their rings made in August.

Most of this board was convinced that we had a terrible offseason. If the media needs to eat crow, then there are some people here who need it positively stuffed down their throats.

I mean the draft was great, most pundits liked Trey Murphy, most liked the Jonas trade, but FA was a mess for the Pels.

And ironically, had it been successful in some of the ways Griff tried, we'd be in a worse position today. Potentially not even in the play in
