last i heard here he had a set back a week or 10 days ago playing 3 on 3 halfcourt.

Shams said don’t expect him back until mid March at least. So hopefully he’s back within a month. I think that’s about best case scenario.

It’s an uphill battle. Hamstring injuries are tricky. The team plans to reevaluate where Zion is in his recovery post ASB. As far as a timeline there was none given but expect him to miss multiple weeks.

That picture from about 10 days ago looks like he gained 30 pounds in 5 weeks. Objectively, the guy is more like the poster child for big time injury bust not a generational player.

What pic are you referring to? I saw him at All Star Wkd on TV. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s heavier, but I honestly haven’t seen anything that makes me think he gained 30 pounds.

Looked like a time out at a Feb 5 (?) game and he was in sweats - think picture was in the NOLA.Com article about our training staff and how much time our players miss because of constant injuries year after year after year.
