How sad is this "fan base" that many post more when he missed a game but crickets when he has a triple double and almost single handedly leads the team to a road win? More would rather bitch about his tattoo.

Big part of why I haven’t been as active on this board. Bunch of whiny arse “fans” coming out that complain when they lose and say they suck, then the same ones turn around and complain when they win because they’re “messing up the tank”

No matter what Zion and Griff do these guys will never be happy. We could win the next 3 championships and the same ones would still say Z sucks and Griff needs to be fired

Just an update on spaghetti’s favorite player in nba history

It was on the internet for a full day, so I brought it to Pels talk

It was worth it as I had someone call me racist, I had spaghetti repeat his lie as Z being the best player in franchise history, etc.

Great for Z getting a triple double to pump us to 16-43. He got his flowers in the game thread.

And Soggy, Z hasn’t won a solitary playoff game, so your scenario about 3 straight championships is absurd

Turn back the clock 3-4 years on this board and I was one of Z’s only defenders when people would call him fat and lazy and we had 95% of the board victory lap a Mardi Gras float depicting him as fat and lazy. I brought up his struggles with mental health and his age of 21 as reasons to give him grace.

After the offseason where it became known he was plowing ratchet idiots instead of rehabbing and being the good dude he presented himself to be, I changed my tune. People are allowed to do that. I loved Z at one point and he has disappointed me and this fanbase. It’s okay to admit that. Blindly Expecting Z to lead us to the promise land is dumber than being disappointed in him for not living up to his generational prospect status.

He’s earned this status amongst fans. He will have to do a ton to earn back the support and love Nola fans showered him with for the 1st 2 or 3 years he was here.

People are allowed to still support him. People are allowed to wish he was on a different team. Hell, Shel and WINSF were Z’s biggest fans like a year ago and they have done a complete 180 on them. Shel dislikes Z so much these days, he doesn’t even post on the damn board anymore. Does that make them bad people or dumb fans? No, they just reached the end of their rope with a guy that everyone gave a massive amount of rope to be a beacon of hope for our franchise.

As long as Zion is a pelican, I always be a fan of his.

Me too. Of course he's frustrating, but when he's at his best, he's simply electrifying to watch play. There's no one else who is anything like him.
