I haven’t been to New Orleans since the CP3 days... tickets were easy to come by.

I’m gonna fly in this season and hopefully get a home stretch to see some games.

Do tickets go on sale for all games at once i.e start of the season? Or do they gradually come on sale as you get closer to the date of the game?

Ticketmaster / Seatgeek / telephone? Best method...

Are we looking at constant sell outs this season?

Thanks for the help

Tickets won’t be hard to get. Maybe for some games they will be expensive, home opener, AD’s return, etc, but they’ll always be available. In a lot of cases they will come cheap as well.

SeatGeek, stubhub, or vivid seats would all get it done. SeatGeek is the official box office

Mid week games will be fairly cheap. Im a season ticket holder and I have to usually sell 10-15 games because of lack of time to go to games. Lakers, Rockets, Clippers, Bucks and home opener will go for some money but the rest should be affordable.

I’m a new season ticket holder as well. I’ll be looking to sell some tickets to games I cannot attend. Could you let me know what a fair price is to ask? I would probably ask for less than what they go for on stubhub, seat geek, etc because of the money saved by not having to pay fees. I know it’s different for every game. Is there some kind of formula you use for weekend vs weeknight games or better teams vs worse teams? Thanks I’m advance. Just trying to ask fair prices

I just sell mine on stubhub and ticket exchange and try to be right where others in my area are selling for. Stubhub is real good at letting you know if your tickets are fair value or not. In previous years for lower tier games I would take a small loss on most games.

Interesting that people sell season tickets for games they can’t attend.

I guess it’s sensible so shouldn’t really be surprised ...but it’s completely frowned upon over here for football.... sorry soccer =|

Chances are it will be midweek games I’m looking at as I’ll be over for a week.

I honesty think it’s too early to know the effect of Zion on midweek games. In the past, tickets were super cheap during the week, but that may change.

Do people usually buy from stubhub last minute? Or do they sell quite a bit a head of time?

Last year most of my tickets would sell 1-2 hours before game time. I have premium tickets to so It makes you slightly nervous possibly having to eat that money.

We have a LOT of new people that frequent PeliTalk now since the AD trade nonsense, lucking into Zion, and having Griff right the ship. As such, many may not know the unwritten decorum for our little corner of TD here:

We do NOT sell our tickets on this board.

Selling of tickets goes to the ticket exchange board. If you would like to give back to the board community by donating or “putting up for grabs” your tix to a game you can’t make, by all means, have at it. I, and many others, have given away freebies because we feel this board gives so much. Of many Pelicans forums I’ve frequented, this is really one of better, top tier there is. That said, welcome all new Pelisons, can’t wait to flock up with y’all!

Yeah it is nothing like soccer games in Europe. Websites like Seatgeek and Stubhub are trustworthy, and your ticket won't be denied like it would if you bought it on the secondary market in Europe.

That said, I usually buy tickets the week of for a midweek game, and track to see a weekend game until it gets to a price I like. Regardless you can get them for a good price the day off.
