So THE TEAM told Zion to stay home and it's THE TEAM sitting him down. Not Zion

Lmao, this shite is hilarious.

Just trade him. Either the team is trying to kill his value or he has been behind the scenes trying to get moved.

Wtf is going on here and at this point I'm tired of this team. Everybody gets hurt EVERY year. Nobody comes back when they are supposed to, nobody plays better than expected, nobody is serious about winning games.

Wtf is going on behind the scenes with this team?

I'm assuming Zion is trying to get moved behind the scenes without creating a media buzz about it

There’s three possibilities here .

One his being traded,
Two his sustained a significant injury but they haven’t had the balls to tell us yet and might tell us when other team members come back .
Three there’s internal conflict going on and his away from the team atm to diffuse the situation .

Either way it’s not looking good . We’re literally screwing up an era where we have so much talent

Nobody going to give you anything for him now.

Maybe a 2027 first and two 2nd round picks

I'm hoping Bucks stay as bad as they currently are, so we have a shot at Cooper Flagg

Then why warm up last night? Unless official imaging done this morning revealed something more.

Likely. Probably wants to play through it. Med staff said no and he threw a hissy fit.

Would you trust this ned staff?
I believe ochsner is the dr for the Saints and pels and our team are always hurt.
Either we have the worst luck or our training and conditioning is dog shite

That's what they are supposed to do. This board and fan base has serious catastrophe syndrome (for good reason). Looking at the posts tonight vs. the tweets from the people reporting this is completely different tone.

It sounds like the team wants him to rest. Considering he had hamstring tightness that became thigh soreness, maybe they're worried he's compensating for something that needs to heal and will injure something else in the process.

Does that suck, especially when with Zion you might have won these last 3 instead of losing them, yes, it does. But that doesn't mean there is a conspiracy afoot other than the team trying to maximize the number of games they get out of Zion this season.

There's always lies with Williamson when it comes to this organization. What have they done in the 5+ years to lead you to believe that they deserve the benefit of the doubt? It getting old.

Is this even medically possible lol???! I’ve never heard this happen. Need a medical person to confirm if this is even possible. Honestly sounds like BS from the pels.

All I know is that whenever we try to armchair psychologist these things we usually end up way, way wrong because we make too many assumptions based on too little information, when a much simpler explanation is staring us in the face, like he's just injured because he's not in game shape still and he thinks stretching is for old men like CJ.

I mean to be fair thats what happens when the organization isn’t being completely transparent with the fans or media. Which has been how pels operate under Griffin.

I mean dude is coming off his best game though. Theres more to this story and honestly the best way to hold him accountable may be to just publicly say he needs more conditioning.

Watch Willie say it. It's just straight matter of fact delivery. He's not tap dancing around it like he's trying to make up some BS excuse or cover something else up. The weirdness that people keep trying to attach to this, because Zion having a minor nagging injury is apparently too unsatisfying of an explanation, is not coming from the team.

I get what you’re saying. Say you’re right- then why in the world would you let him go through a full warm up last night, mark him still questionable today instead of OUT, tell him don’t even bother warming up and change his actual injury from tight hamstring to sore thigh? Why couldn’t he not warm up but just sit on the bench to support his team?

That makes absolutely no sense. Again its the complete lack of transparency from the organization here. Did the medical staff screw up by letting him warm up last night? Did he aggravate something in warm ups? Willie says he still had no idea how he got injured? The head coach had no clue how his best player got injured? I’m sorry this organization has been too shady with his injuries for me to buy its just a small nagging injury.

Why is there such a panic? It’s the norm.

It's only 2 possible reasons.

The team, as most fans have been saying for years, is too cautious and feels like every type of soreness is an injury relevant enough to be sat down for. Which is bullshite and a reason to dislike the franchise from top to bottom. Also, a reason why Zion should want out of here if that's the case.

The other reason is that Zion is trying to create another issue, and has been for years, so he can get traded

Or he has a serious hamstring injury and we won't see him until 2025. I doubt this is the case doe.
