They’ll send Hayward and/or Rozier. If Griffin can pull off number 2 pick and more first for Zion- to me you have to take that. I would be shocked though if he pulls that off.

Yes. He showed good amount potential at the end of the year.

Ok, I think there's something here and I think Griff might rape the Hornets.
Jordan is a terrible exec and he'll absolutely cave if it means getting Zion back in NC so he can sell the team.
If I'm Griff I want No. 2, Williams and some pick swaps.
Griff needs to make the same gamble on Zion's health he did with AD. That the fat, nasty chick loving beta won't stay healthy.
The Hornets are trash.
It comes down to this...
Do you think Zion matures and stays healthy the next five years? Yes or no?
Based on everything we've seen, I vote no.
Get those swaps and cash in while also getting off his massive contract. I'm not even in love with Scoot but I could get behind this.
Plus, Zion is absolutely toxic in NOLA right now. Fans hate his arse. Benson might be pushing this too.

If he goes to Hornets, who are more dysfunctional than us- dude is done lol That team is just dumb and honestly has bad ownership- sorry Jordan. If I was Zion, I would beg not to be shipped off there.

If Zion is Embiid at best, is he really worth clinging to?

Jordan is actively selling the team.

Can you imagine how fat his arse will look in those teal throwback stripe jerseys???! They’ll throw him out there even when hes out of shape and fat, twitter will go crazy with memes lol

I know but that might take a year or two. I haven’t heard its something immediate, unless im wrong?

The Hornets make so much sense really.
Who could we get back from Charlotte salary wise that wouldn't mess up the cap? Oubre? He's only got a year left.
What if it goes like this:
Zion for Williams, Oubre, No. 2, and some kind of future 1s or swaps. I might be fine with just swaps.
Not sure what you do though with what's left. You'd have a glut of Guards.
Scoot
CJ
Herb
Dyson
Jose
One of those probably has to go too.

Zion and Embiid are very different players, I don't see how that comp makes any sense. Zion is a high flying rim rattler, more like Vince Carter or something

I see Herb as more of a SF. I would say CJ, but hes needed for leadership and hard to trade. I think Dyson may be the one to go. He started strong but man his offense really regressed at the end of the year.

I think hes referring more to the fact Embiid was injured a lot early and then became a superstar and MVP. I dont think he was comparing their actual on court playing style.

I don't think Zion will have a long career. He seems to be regressing in maturity and not getting better.
I wouldn't be shocked if CJ had a heart to heart with Willie/Griff and was like, this dude doesn't get it.
I definitely don't think Zion is "in" with the core guys. He's aloof.
I also think that they could be scared of what happens if he comes back and then gets hurt again. Fans will revolt and team will be despondent - 10 game losing streak incoming.

I gotcha, how about Julius Randle then? He missed about his first year and a half as well and they have pretty similar bodies.

- yup. See CJ end of year presser. He didn’t say Zion but we all knew who he was referring to. I can promise that was calculated and wouldn’t be shocked if Griff/Willie told him to say it.

If Zion’s comp is Julius Randle. I would immediately trade him. Julius has sucked in the playoffs and honestly not someone I would build around. Good player but not great. To me Zion needs to be Embiid like trajectory for us to keep him.

I just don't think it's worth our time to speculate about discussions that are going on behind closed doors. Ultimately it will only ever be speculation and we have no idea what is actually going on.
Some people need their personal lives to blow up in their face in order for them to wake up. For all we know, this recent shite could be that shot in the arm. I've been of the opinion that this next season will be make or break for Zion's tenure with New Orleans. Let's just let it play out

I'm not comparing the talent with that specific post, I'm comparing the bodies
