A lot of people hate the Saints customer service team. Mainly because they don't have to pamper you like the hornets reps do. You don't renew your saints tickets, doesn't matter. They sell themselves. Most hornets season ticket holders know their rep on a personal level. They need your renewal.

Yea that's what I was going to say, they don't have to pamper you. But I've always found them pleasant to deal with.

The Hornets have good CS, but they can get annoying blowing up your phone and such.

I think Hornets ticket sales are monitored by an outside company anyway. Not sure how Benson will all of a sudden make them shifty unless he starts to cut money. But I think he realizes he isn't in that position

Mr. Benson and the Hornets should team up with the Girl Scouts. Nobody tells them girls No.

I love the interaction with the hornets ticket reps. The upgrade opportunities have always been really cool, plus they will try to help out with any requests. I have zero interaction with the saints ticket rep for my seats. The only time I hear from them is when I get an invoice in the mail. I hope the hornets customer service doesn't suffer any.

I'm with you LE that the hornets people can kind of get on your nerves when they call too much though. But overall I have had a great experience with them.

Deshazier was just on 690 and said the post office on Loyola is another potential location. Seems like the Airline location would be built a lot quicker.

Basically what the last few posters have said. I get treated great by my rep and i'm expecting that to be impacted negatively.

I work for a major corporation, we buy smaller corporations and like jobs become merged. Quality of service declines from what their previous customers were used to. It is the way of business. This situation is no different.

Hope your buddy doesn't get canned.

He said he isnt worried because the advertising department is run by some old geeser who has been with the Hornets since they were in Charlotte and is good friends with Benson. He has assured everyone in their office that their jobs are safe.

I wonder if Benson will try to invest in the area around there to "clean it up" a bit. Maybe a nicer hotel, restaurants (well, chain restaurants), etc.

I wish I owned a motel or something there, I would tear down and build a nice all suite small hotel real quick. It would be perfect for that area.

Word from inside the Hornet's offices say Benson is going to combine Saints/Hornets staff and many Hornet employees will get the ax.

I know someone in sales who is kinda worried, nothing at all has been said yet, still focused on selling season tix for next year.

The post office wants to shut down that building so bad and move PnDC operations to the Blubonnet station.

While that would be my expectations, my rep told me that Benson met with them the day of his New Orleans press conference and told them they would not lose their jobs. Not that the statement from an owner means anything though.

I have Saints and Hornets tickets. In my experience it's like night and day. The Saints reps seem like they're one step removed from being a bar back or a first year Ford salesman. The Hornets reps at least have personalities and make an effort. And that goes back to their first year here. Of course, the Hornets reps have to make more of an effort because of the market.

I am slightly worried about Benson cutting too many corners with the staff and customer service, but maybe it'll be fine. You can take the boy out of the Irish Channel, but you can't . . .
