Rumor is AD will take his trade kicker

This just gets better and better
With AD taking his trade kicker, LAL will only have around 23 million in cap space this year., with only 3-4 players under contract..
We very well may end up with more cap space than they have hahaha

Why would AD value 5 more million, for just one year, over getting a chance to lock in another max level player?

Same reason why he wanted to leave an up and coming franchise to play with a 34 year old LeBron on one of the worst franchises in the league. He isn’t smart.

They will have 27 million if he waives it, 23.7 if he takes it..
They could have had 32 if he waived it, but Griffin is making them execute the deal before the 30th, so they lose that salary savings from the 4th pick
