Yea I think that once you make the NBA All Star you should be disqualified from the rising star game. It should be reserved for guys who needs the exposure.

I wouldn’t say disqualified, but other kids could use the spot so choose to sit out. I guess the same could be said for Trae Young.

It used to be the Rookie vs. Sophomore game, Doncic is technically still a “sophomore” so that would be the rising part.
