There are a few things when Zion drives that are negative for the Pelicans. One, Zion's still improving his handle, he still loses the ball too often driving. Two, Zion is learning to finish with his right hands.. He's so around most big guys that it doesn't matter, but when people start collapsing to help, he needs to a better job keeping finishing when going right. Third, Zion passes to guys who keep bricking shots.

They're all problems but they are all fixable by Zion continuing to work of his handle, finishing with right hand, and a jumpshot. Finally, surround him with consistent shooters. Pels have shot under 34% from 3 in 3 of last 5, including 31% in Celtics game.

Those aren't really "negatives." Zion averages 2.3 turnovers a game on the season. His handle is talked about a lot on this board in a negative way. However, if you listen to other team's media members and national guys, his handle is considered very good. People have to remember that while he may not be clean at all times with his handle, it seldom leads to a turnover and at his size and speed it is damn near unstoppable. He literally has morphed into a an unstoppable force since he has been handed more ball handling duties.

I mean Zion has 29 turnovers on 310 drives this season.

Which to put into context is 1 less than Lebron James has on 321 drives. 2 more than Giannis has on 330 drives.

So I’d say we might be overstating the deficiency of his handle a bit.

Not saying there isn’t room to improve, not skills he would be wise to improve upon, but given his size and age, his handle is basically unheard of.

Bucher at it again today, said "HELL NO" to the question of if Zion lived up to the hype and basically said he's a complete disappointment.

He had the audacity to claim that because Zion didn't have Kareem or Shaq to win their teams 60 games like Kobe and Magic and didn't have a winning record like Lebron he didn't deserve to be in the youngest all-star conversation.
