One of the worst called games I’ve watched all season and all the calls went Grizz way.

Nah……we blew it. Let them get to the rim with ease and turned the ball over/poor shot selection/game management in the last 5 minutes

The lack of boxing out killed them. Zion should average 9+ a game easily with his size but he does not give an eff. Willie obviously needs to go.

Refs definitely need to learn how to officiate Zion. He doesn't get the calls he should get and they call the calls they shouldn't.

3 different foul calls they got for tripping without any contact.
That’s bull shite.
Ja got a foul call every time he went to the goal and someone breathed on him. JJJ literally hugged Zion one time and no foul was called, and JJJ flopped twice to get calls.
It was a horribly reffed game, and it still should not have prevented us from easily winning. We still lost it ourselves.

That “tripping” on Desmond Bane and the non travel on Biyambo in the 1st quarter were probably the 2 worst calls I’ve ever seen.

but what killed me was 15 FT attempts for JJJ. you know when the last time he took 15 FTs in a game? maybe high school. never in college. never in the NBA

He was also sick man which Willie knew. To me refs sucked but this is a lot on Willie. No adjustments and bad rotations. Ja kept going to straight to the rim and willie doesn’t even double him on the last play of game.

Hes looked really active the last couple of games. If youre sick believe it or not it will affect you in the game.

Agree 100 %. But the terribly concerning part is BI and Zion got no calls driving to the hoop and Ja and JJJ got a ton. And BI and Zion consistently get very few calls when they drive strong to the hole. It’s a continuing problem and our flat-line head coach needs to get pissed about it.

Man that second to last bucket (JV tip in off Zion miss) was awful. Zion got assaulted under the rim and didn't get a whistle. Morant got one every trip down the floor.
The refs were absolute dogshit tonight and aided the Grizzlies win, but it's still no excuse to blow a 24 pt lead at home vs a 6-win team on the second of a B2B
