at anyone who wouldn't take this trade. We would be stealing a top 3 point guard in the league
Nah bro, Rondo is a scrub compared to Vasquez

Vasquez has like 9 assists a game, and thus is a top 5 player in the league, as per this board

Don't give me that "yea, let's see a link" shite

It's called an exaggeration, and people make them

I think everyone is giving Vasquez proper recognition this year. Averaging 14 and 9 in his 3rd year in the league is pretty damn impressive. This trade is silly anyway because the trade doesn't make sense for the Kings or the Celtics.

Yeah, there is no way that this trade is put on the table, so this is not really a very good thread, and I just wasted my time commenting on it.

We'd be dumb not to take this trade. With that being said, BOS and SAC would be dumb to even think about making it.

Evans has been on the Cs radar for awhile, wouldn't be surprised if the find a way to get him.

In a vacuum, Rondo over Vasquez every day of the week.

In the real world, salary matters. Rondo's real added value would be his defense. Offensively, Vasquez is still behind, but not by as much as you think.

Is that added value on defense worth the tens of millions you could spend strengthening the rest of the team?

Agree Hornets need to be patient. Keep draft picks. Don't go for the quick fix like Cleveland did when LeBron was in town.

With that said, Rondo in NO would be awesome.
