At least he plays. We’re about to pay zion 35 million to play 15 games a year. Hard to stay mad at CJ when that fat frick is glued to the bench

CJ for the month of March

20 ppg
43% from 3
2.0 turnovers
5.5 assists per game
4.7 rebs
44.9 fg%

Pretty outstanding for a 3rd option. He had a bad game today though which means he actually sucks 100% of the time.

I give CJ a little bit of a pass because he’s playing hurt and he carried us some when others were out. I couldn’t imagine if he’d have opted for surgery mid season. But I can’t find a way to defend his play today. He played like shite today and at the worst possible times.

They literally aren't. Not 3pt%, not fg%, not efg%, and not ts%.

He plays and costs us this game. If hes not healthy and can’t make winning plays who cares if he’s gutting it out. I rather he be like Zion and say I would hurt the team if I played and sit out.

Overall, CJ has played OK. He hasn't played like $35 million, and I think we all know that.

He was better when his hand wasn't hurt, He was better when we had Zion, and he was better when we could count on Jose subbing in and being another lead guard who could successfully initiate the offense.

But he's still not playing at the level of his contract. If there's a real superstar available in the offseason, then his contract will be discussed in those trade talks.

CJ made a huge difference in the future of the team last season by helping us get into the playoffs and helping Zion get his head back on straight and getting the Zion extension. So, I'll always respect what he's done for the Pels -- I ain't hatin'.

Iknownothingsofar!!!!! What did he do today? Willie can't control that dude. Everyone sees he is just chucking up shots, hoping it goes in.

Oh by the way, he doesn't play defense always trailing behind the play holding guys.

I would argue he hasn’t played like 20 million. So we traded and paid a guy to be a Zion whisperer abd get us beat by the suns in 6 games last year? If he continues to play like this contract will kill us.

Oh yeah because CJ can control that. Ingram and Zion missing huge chunks of the year directly correlate to CJs usage. Use your brain bro.

And he shot 43% for the month of March from 3. A truly weird anomaly of a game for him, he was 10/20 from 3 before today in his last two games. Shame you guys can't see that.

This is a casual fan take bro. For the past two weeks we needed to go on a run. EVERY GAME IS frickING IMPORTANT. This game wouldn't have mattered if we didn't go 8-2 before it.

Clown arse

Lol so this game didn’t mean as much because thd other games meant as much. Yeah lets not blame CJ in the most important game of the year. Those games led to this game!!! Lets talk about how great CJ was a week ago or in March but not about how he shite the bed today because thats a clown take. Get out of here. Trying to get people off CJ when he had the worst game of the season at the worst time.

Jesus christ you are so fricking retarded.

This game meant a lot because we won the games previously. Those games were just as important, otherwise this game wouldn't have meant anything.

Who said he's free from blame? I said he shat the bed today. Keep those hate blinders on I guess.

We went 8-2 MOSTLY in spite of CJ not because of him. It was because BI hit another level and so did Trey. Its cause we focused on gettung JV invoved. Name me one game durung that 8-2 run that CJ carried this team???! Meaning every one else shite the bed but CJ carried them. I bet you can’t and theres a reason for that, hes only good when others are playing well. And even when BI went off tonight in a playoff atmosphere game on the road not home game against scrubs, he sucked arse. Just like this thread you started.

Complete ignorance. How are you winning “in spite” of a guy putting up 20/4.5/4 on 46/45/70% in his last 10? He played just as big a role as anyone else on the team in those wins.

I love how we don’t incorporare his reboundung turnovers and defensive numbers in anything. List those as well and we’ll talk.
