I know you’re not replying to my post, but I did post a lineup with BI coming off the bench so here’s more of my reasoning-

#1 I consider Murray and Zion as the absolute no brainers to start.

#2 I think CJ being the vet will get the nod from Willie.

#3 Herb is our absolute best defender and has to start. CJ starting makes that even more of a need.

So that leaves one spot between Trey and BI, which is nominally the C, and I consider-

#1 Trey is bigger
#2 Trey is a better shooter from beyond the arc
#3 Zion needs to be surrounded by shooters

And

#4 Ingram has more versatility than Trey and can provide a fresh sub at positions 1-5 without other guys having to move spots.

Now that it's pretty obvious our roster is somehow set for the beginning of this season without an actual center worth a shite, anybody want to change their prediction on our starting lineup?

I'm still goign with
CJ/Herb/BI/Zion/Theis, and as a reminder, I hate that lineup, but it's what i predict.
My second guess is replacing Herb with Murray b/c Griff makes Willie start Murray, and Willie likes old guys respect more than he likes defense.

and i'll say it again, Griff should be fired for this roster and the fact that we're a tax team. 3rd offseason in a row where he's been terrible at improving the roster, while wasting draft assets to make up for his bad decisions. And while we did improve our talent i think by adding Murray, we're left with a team that has no center, or backup 4.
I cannot believe we are going to go into this season with Theis and 2 unknowns in a rookie and Euro guy that we should not be expecting to be big contributors, and i'm the biggest advocate to playing small and paying big money to the center position, but this is silly.
