well i'm willing to bet that i've watched more live game of these players than these writers who watch one or two prime time games. i'm giving ben more than just a shooter type comparison.
and im pouting cause others compare him to one of the greatest shooters in history but i cant compare him to more athletic baller types. dude can run and jump his arse off

No one is saying he shoots as well as Ray Allen. We're saying that their games are similar.

Calling him a cross between Wade/Westbrook is hilarious.

And scouting these players is what a ton of these guys get paid to do. I assure you they don't just watch a few nationally televised games and then just call it a day.

And he disappears far too often.

He was a freshman on a team full of starting seniors. I don't think he'll be pulling any disappearing acts at the next level.

Even Bill Self said he was too passive. They begged him to shoot more and be a bigger part of the offense.

like i said earlier, these seniors were shite to an extent. i invite any of you to admit that you, as a coach, would allow this "passiveness" when the season depends on him. dude came open off shite loads of screens to watch those other idiots "audition for the pros". he voiced his displeasures in arlington though. ku players where never like"here, do your thing ben". you dont believe my rant on those guys? watch the last play of their season. pure dumbassness
after all that, i'm still not a pro scout so none of this shiznit matters!

Great analysis.

And lol on you blaming his struggles on the seniors around him. They were "shite"? Absolutely not.

There were too many games where he'd miss 4 of his first 5 and then just shut down for the rest of the game. That had nothing to do with the other players on the team.

1. Smart: does a lot of things well, and the things he isn't as good at yet he can improve

2. McLemore: I like this guy. Great athlete, solid shooter, and I'm not too worried about the passiveness

3. Porter: Possibly the best fit for the team b/c he is an all around player who would fill the team's biggest hole. Would be valuable on both sides of the ball

I would be ecstatic with any of those three guys

4. Noel: Tons of potential, but I just don't think he is a good fit for the team. That being said it would be mighty tough to pass on him here b/c he would be the BPA here if he is available

5. Oladipo: Great athlete with the right attitude. Still needs some time to develop his game

6. Burke: I think he would make his teammates better. Put on a heck of a show in the tourney. I'm a little concerned about his size.

I'd be okay with any of the picks I have listed 3-6

7. Shabazz: He is going to be able to score, but IMO he is just too one-dimensional and I worry about his attitude/personality/character

8. Alex Len: Will be on okay player in a position that is hard to fill. Would be kind of underwhelming, but I do think he would contribute to the team.

Kind of sucks that Smart won't be an option. Now I guess my top 8 looks like:

1. McLemore
2. Porter
3. Noel
4. Oladipo
5. Burke

After those five I'm not too happy

6. Shabazz
7. Len
8. Bennett
