Can't find it, and I'm sure it's not as bad as it appears to be, but it seems like opposing teams almost always score against us and we hardly ever score against them.

He was terrible tonight. That last call was a joke.

How?

We had probably 4 different ways to get a great look. 2 players didn't make good decisions.

Willie can't get in there and make the play for them.

- Herb missed Willy inside
- Herb hesitated before going inbounds and missed a chance after Gordon left him to get a pass back from CJ
- CJ could have guaranteed free throws had he went up and into Gordon
- CJ could have simply dribbled once and stepped in for an in rhythm jumper

Herb missed 2 chances, CJ missed 2 chances. Why are we still saying Willie drew up a bad play?

What call do you think would have given has many chances as the above?

I’m directing my anger at BI from here on out. If he plays the last 10 games we win probably 6 of them. Cj is not a #1 and he shouldn’t be asked to be.

Watch Herb. He was looking almost exclusively for CJ (probably why he missed Billy cutting). It was clear the play was called for CJ in the corner. CJ was 0-7 from 3 in the game and had had an off game in total. Instead of sticking with the hot hands, Willie went for his star player on the court.

The play call was intended to go to CJ. That was first option. For a three….down one. There was no reason to intentionally shoot further away from the goal. Ignoring even the idea that CJ was not the hot hand.

Herb should have seen Billy, but it’s understandable because his first option was open. It was just a bad first option.

Play calls very often end with the player with the ball changing it up on the fly based on what he's seeing.

It was very clear that the play we called ended with multiple successful options, but the players did not execute. All Willie can do is put players in position to succeed, which he did on that final play. He can't make them succeed.

You say go to the hot hand, Alvarado was the hot hand but on everything driving at the rim off of pick and rolls. There's not a play to draw up that can do that in 3.7 seconds. I don't care if CJ was 0 for 7, if you're saying Alvarado should be taking a jumper over CJ, I will disagree with that 100 out of 100 times.

Now, you are the pragmatist: neither foolish optimist leaning toward realist nor miserable pessimist.

You have done well, grasshopper.
