We could really use him about now. Why don't we bring him up from the d-league to get some minutes? We could send AD to the d-league to get some solid minutes while testing out a new option at PG

Because you can't showcase him if he sits at the end of the bench.

Wait, you mean AR?

But yes, send up Pierre Jackson right fricking now before Portland steals him!

How would they steal him? We have his rights

They own the Stampede. Yes, we have his rights, but they have coaches, scouts, fans, etc. that are watching the kid kill it every single night. They're interested in making a deal for him (which is what I meant by "steal" him). Because he would essentially be stolen if we sold him low.

Brief Yahoo article discussing the situation.
He would more than likely be traded for a 2nd rounder, which is generally a wasted pick.

I am officially intrigued. I really do think he can be a spark and lasting NBA player.
If anything, a big time fan favorite. Dude is under 6' and can fly high above the rim.

They are going send him up because from what I heard. If he stays there, it adds a year to his rookie contract ?

I don't know. The article said that Pierre wanted closure this week. Perhaps for this reason^^

Makes zero sense not to play this kid over Robertson. Hopefully they get him up here.

If he's getting called up they'd call him up. If they are meeting with his reps it's probably to discuss what trades they found.

I was thinking the same. However, "calling him up" requires negotiating a contract, which could happen in the meetings.

I agree. He should definitely replace that Robertson guy.

99% of 2nd rounders get pretty much the same deal. The only non standard 2nd round contract that comes to mind is Chandler Parsons 4 year deal which ended up screwing him.

Are you mentally capable of talking basketball? Send AD to the Dleague? this is preposterous.

You MUST have meant someone else
