Jester the point in saying "unique" is that it represents Louisiana. Louisiana is unique in that we use the symbol of the pelican a lot to represent us. Seriously...its not the difficult to understand.

You are coming up with all these reasons why Pelicans isnt a good name when it really just boils down to you not thinking its "cool".
