Love and Niko do alot of the same things, you dont bring in Love when you have Niko on your team already

Love does do a lot of the same things, but he also rebounds and shoots better.

It’s not ideal by any means; they both wouldn’t be a part of your “crunch time 5.”

But you always maintain that space-shooting big next to AD.

So if I squint hard enough, I can sort of see the fit.

Especially if you’re able to keep one 1st rounder, Frank and Moore while adding Rodney Hood

Terrence Ross is not the answer.

Not ideal? Niko is getting at least $15 million next year and more likely in the ball park of $20. It would be complete roster mismanagement to have Love and Niko on the same roster making around $45 million combined.

If we actually have any interest in Love it's as a replacement for Niko, but even then I'm having trouble coming up with a realistic trade where we send Niko out to get someone like Porter/Beal and still have enough outgoing salary leftover to bring in Love.

It's doable but sends out too many useful players.

Niko/Hill for Porter

Randle/Moore/Johnson for Love/Hood

Cleveland doesn't want Randle and Moore, and honestly I don't think that Porter/Love/Hood is better than Niko/Randle/Moore when you consider the salaries.

According to Peachtree Hoops (equivalent to The Bird Writes) the Pels have shown interest in acquiring Jeremy Lin.

Can’t help but think the Hawks are we ultimately deal with.

That move just wouldnt make sense unless he would be a part of a bigger deal

No Ross is not the answer especially for a 1st. With that being said, name a better wing currently on our team. Ross is not the answer, but definitely an improvement.

You have to get a little more than Ross if you are gonna send Solo and a 1st. Maybe Magic send a future 2nd to Cavs for Hood or something like that.

wtf.

The fact that this guy is dumb enough to post this should eliminate him as any kind of insider.

I like Crewz’s idea on Twitter of Wes, Solo, 2019 1st, and swap rights in 2021 for Bazemore and Prince

I would then turn around and accept Bucks deal which was, if I recall Brogdon and Maker for Randle and a 2nd

Payton / Brogdon / Jackson
Jrue / Moore / Clark
Bazemore / Prince / Miller
Niko / Maker
AD / Okafor

That’s a deep team. Would maybe need to get another big on the buyout market but I’d like that team a lot

That team is definitely an improvement and I think would make us a clear top 4-5 Western Conference team. But does that roster convince AD to stay?

Why would Atlanta part with Prince for a bunch of salary dumps and the 16th-24th pick?

You would have to throw in a future pick swap. But I promise you it's very possible

Does Prince have a higher ceiling than Barnes,Bazemore and Porter. Is he strictly three and d guy or can he create for himself and others? I havent followed his game much.

Crewz, are there serious talks for Bazemore and Prince or is the focus still on Beal?

I get the idea of swinging for the fences, but I also think we need to be realistic about our expectations to make us as competitive as possible whether AD stays or not. Prince and Brogdon in the scenario I mentioned above are good long term pieces/assets that you can partner with Jrue. May not win a title but that’s ok. Just want consistency.

Cavs want to tank and take on Solo & Niko...

niko is pretty good.
3 point.
Rebounds.

Makes no sense in tank discussion.

I doubt each and every idea in this thread.

Keep the pick.

Most, if not all of the B level trades will be there in three weeks. Go for Beal until you know for sure you can't get him

I know our picks are always outside the lottery but man I hate dealing away our picks. Leaves nothing to look forward to.

Love isn’t even sure if he will playijg this season due to “injury” aka draft concerns.
