I really think this Pels team might go down but I think they go down swinging hard with no Zion. The national media would shite themselves if we actually win tonight and take a 1-0 lead on the #1 seed. I really think we can do it too. Maybe I’m being over optimistic but if they can catch fire a few times and play solid defense we can beat them.

Agreed. I think the series going to be very competitive because both teams are young and going to just let it fly.

If there was a road game to steal in the series its likely this one. They haven’t played in a while and they might get off to a slow start. If Im pels- I would get physical from the get go and try to build a big lead.

We just need to survive or nullify the first quarter. They are going to come out with a shite ton of emotion and that building is going to bumping with a bunch of sunday drunk rednecks and cowboys.

I think his overall point in highlighting his dependency on FTs is that we've seen those players have issues in the playoffs because the Refs don't give you those calls.
Harden is a prime example. I like Shai, but we’ll see how that drawing foul game works out in a series.

I never said he wasn’t good. I’m saying he isn’t top 10 and would be much lower without his unearned superstar call. For example Herb has been a top 3 perimeter defender for 3 years now and still doesn’t have the respect of even Pat Bev. Imagine how effective Herb would be if they relaxed on the whistle so he never is in foul trouble and he could go harder without fear of a cheap call. Same principle goes for SGA but in reverse. Btw Luka Giannis Jokic Embiid Curry are easily better and I would argue Durant Booker LeBron AE and possibly Zion and Tatum are better which puts him at 10-12 imo

I know you didn’t say he wasn’t good. But you’re absolutely wrong hes not top ten. This year he is clearly a top ten player if not higher. Does he get some calls sure- but you’re acting like the refs made him a MVP candidate. Thats absurd.

Jose needs to have the ball in his hands as much as possible. Thunder are solid defensively in the half court and isolation basketball will not work, especially in the 4th quarter.
