CJ probably thought he could teach the young guys this but instead, he got two guys that are pussies. Josh Hart is missed on this team. Jose and CJ are the only Alphas on the team.

Schedule schedule schedule. 10 fricking games. Our opponent win% of the teams we've lost to is what? Probably really good. It's a silly metric to use right now given the teams we've played with the health we've had.

I believe it's pretty middle of the pack.

You seem to be grasping at straws at this point.

Tell me you don't understand the metric without telling me you don't understand the metric.

Would that hypothetically injured Denver team win any of those games? You would say they could go 1-4 with confidence? Maybe? Big win shel. You sure got me
Here you go...Denver won 48 games.

3rd on the team in minutes - Will Barton
4th - Monte Morris
5th - Jeff Green
6th - Austin Rivers
7th - Bones Hyland
8th - Facundo Campazzo

I rest my case, I think we can close the book on this one and you thinking Jokic and Murray simply couldn't beat the vaunted Hawks, Rockets, and Mavs when he drug Jeff Green and Austin Rivers to 48 wins

I never seen a group of stars that doesn't have enough pride to play hard on both ends of the floor when they are in a losing streak. How do you as star players allow a 5 game losing streak? Lead by fricking example. How many games do they need to lose before they wake the frick up. Where's a Jimmy Butler when you need one?

It's proven to be a better predictor of future wins/losses compared to actual wins/losses, but ho hum I guess.

48 games? Because they got to play non contenders and developed some chemistry? Crazy? That's a great argument to use against a team that's played 10 games against primarily contenders and playoff teams. Totally relatable!

Do we really need to compare and contrast Zion to Lebron James ?

You’re the one that said a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio is not good, yet the best point forward ever is a 2 to 1 ratio for his career.

That’s not a straw man, that showing you how idiotic your statement was.

Well yeah shel, because you don't play contenders and playoff teams every night in the nba. And they have recently.
They played the Hawks and Mavs at home and Rockets on the road. Let's relax on acting like this was some unbelievable gauntlet that you simply could not expect Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamosn to maybe put a team on their backs and get a W or 2.

Gsw 6-4
Atlanta 5-4
Denver 8-2
Minny 6-2
Rox 6-3
Mavs 8-2

Yeah, pretty middle of the pack. 39-17 combined record is so middle of the pack bro. You got me. I was grasping so hard.

So we should be confident because we just need Zion and BI to play together and gain some chemistry.

And once those 2 players that are playing together in...checks notes...their 5th season, gain that chemistry, look out NBA!!!

So two playoff teams and one really hot team.

I fully agree they should win games, but I'm not sounding the alarm bells that they didn't. It's too early.

To oversimplify things, does anyone feel like this team is a title contender as presently constructed when fully healthy?

I don't. I think maybe we could frick around and make a WCF if we got a good draw in the playoffs, which would go down as the best team in franchise history. But I see no scenario where this team can win four 7-game series against elite teams.

Some changes need to be made, not whole sale blowing shite up changes, but changes nonetheless.

I said long ago in this thread the issue isn't the wins or the losses, it's the process and the results.

There's a serious lack of effort.

There's no sense of urgency.

We're a bottom 5 offense.

We're a bottom 10 defense.

Oh shel. They haven't played together consistently in over 2 years. You know that. You're feebly manipulating the argument.

We just played against a Superstar at home on a Sunday showcase. Our two "stars" got outshined by a lot. Someone has to step up. Irving looked like an MVP tonight and nobody wanted him 2 months ago. Where is the pride?
