Man. An nba team severely lacking depth and starters is getting blown out by 4-5 playoff teams/contenders. Who wouldve thought.

League average TS%: .571

Zion coming into tonight: .536

It's not that he's not scoring efficiently, he's not even close to scoring at average NBA efficiency. You're arguing it and acting like I'm crazy when it's not even my opinion....it's a literal fact.

I'm waiting for you to tell me the thing he has done this year at an above average level...you've yet to do that. You tried with scoring, but that was factually incorrect. So I'll await the next thing you tell me he's doing well.

You just can’t fall apart every time you have injuries. Your club has to be mature and talented enough to win some games short handed. If you can’t do that, you’re not a very good team.

Especially when your best 2 players aren't the ones injuries.

If you can' stay afloat and avoid losing and playing like a bottom 3 NBA team WITH your best 2 players, you have issues.

I’m not alleviating this front office from Blame. Griff has screwed up the Zion relationship from the jump .

Again , however , a guy that has to be pushed , begged , beaten , cussed out , whatever it may be is the opposite of a leader .

2 to 1 is not particularly good either.

Lebron is pretty much 2 to 1 for his career, guess he’s not very good either

Now list their defensive stats. Z and BI both has the worst DRTG in the starting line up this year. That's scary bad. And CJ has a better block rate than Zion. That insane.

People need to look at the Lakers last season. Changing out some role players turned a 2-10 team into a team that made the WCF.

Man do you think, and this is totally crazy, but hear me out shel, that playing with Matt Ryan, jre, and the ghost of Larry Nance might bring down his numbers just a bit?

Remember when he looked average but showed off the elite talent in spurts in the beginning of last year? What happened after he got his legs?

Easy on the read sentences part, you're wrong again.

I said we were bottom 2-3, you said name a team better. I named that team.

So no, you did not say record. I stated the parameters, not you.

My point still stands.

We are literally afloat playing one of the toughest stretches of the schedule.

What are we talking about right now? I swear we are 12 games under .500 at the midway point the way you guys talk.

This is called a straw man …

Do we really need to compare and contrast Zion to Lebron James ?

Yeah. I didn't use net rating as a qualifier, because you know, in a short sample size like what you're using, is ridiculous. You added that qualifier. You didn't even bring up playing the schedule we played (I did) because you know that would hurt your argument.

Unless you think the nuggs playing

Atlanta
Minny
A fully healthy version of themselves
Rox
Mavs

Would that hypothetically injured Denver team win any of those games? You would say they could go 1-4 with confidence? Maybe? Big win shel. You sure got me

I'm struggling to grasp how low you think of Zion/BI to contrast this thought that there's just no way those 2 dudes could avoid a bunch of fricking blowouts.

you think those 2 dudes are soooo good but also think they can't avoid being blown out and losing over and over over while playing? Those 2 things don't jive, especially in an NBA where stars routinely put their team on their backs and go out and win games by themselves.

I kind of agree on this. Both Zion and BI intensity and effort has been seriously lacking the whole season. Something is off, some of this is on willie put this team desperately needs a players only meeting. Someone needs to step up and hold people accountable.

Just a bit?

Do I need to post Zion's TS% this season vs last season vs his career, or can you just admit it's not down "just a bit?"

Back to my point about if you're happy with 36 wins and hoping to win the play in or 43 wins and also getting into the play in vs thinking these 2 guys can actually take us places that matter.

They haven't fricking played together consistently in like 2 years. They will be light years better towards the middle of this season, hell they flashed it already.

Well yeah shel, because you don't play contenders and playoff teams every night in the nba. And they have recently.

When?

If you use last season's first half, remember BI and Zion played less than 20 games together.

They have a dude named Nikola Jokic on their team, you should try to check him out when you get a chance.

You thinking Jokic AND Murray can't do shite when Jokic without Murray and a bunch of randoms won something like 48 games
