Lol shel has officially gone off the deep end folks.
Do you think he's played defense well this season?

Do you think he's scored the ball efficiently this season?

quote:

That you bring up his assist numbers is hilarious considering the bums he's passing to for wide open 3s

To clarify, you don't have a single post talking up Hawkins and Ryan's ability to knock down 3s, right?

Zion also played a few games with CJ, Zion averaged 3.8 assists per game in those games with CJ...is 3.8 assists per game good for your best player?

Exactly at this point Zion is all talk. He looks the same and his game hasn’t evolved

He’s out of shape, lazy, entitled and a head case. He’s too worried about spitting in some hookers mouth (allegedly) instead of developing his basketball game. It’s amazing what a waste of talent he is. He could be generational like LeBron, MJ, etc. Instead he’s going to coast through a mediocre career based on his reputation while milking the teams for 400 million. Not a bad gig.

He’s turning it over at an alarming rate

He has a 2-1 assist to turnover ratio…

Not sure what it is after tonight, but that was it going into the game.

I was responding to you

That said this
Please reread that. You quoted me stating if your best 2 players are healthy but then respond talking about the Nuggets not playing, not sure what you're missing here lol.

Me: "If your best 2 players are playing"
Your response: "Because if the nuggets 2 best players weren’t playing"

Zion has said himself he’s still learning to be a leader .

But regardless , would you follow someone that shows up unprepared at every turn ? Someone that shows up to work 20% of the time ?

You have to be able to count on a leader . Zion is the least dependable person on the roster .

You're basically arguing that BI/ZIon is better than Jokic/Murray.

There is exactly a 0.0% chance that Jokic with Murray and even their next 4 best players injured would be a bottom 2 Net Rating NBA team over 10 games. Zero percent, none. It's like you've never watched Jokic play.

he's not playing at the level of an average basketball player right now.

This is the part that made me say you've gone off the deep end. Then you have the nerve to talk about efficiently scoring, when he is, it's just not at zion levels.

Just so we're clear, this isn't good enough for an average nba player:

22 pts
7 rebs
4 asts
2.4 turnovers
50.7% fg

That isn't even average according to you. Just stop

You'v yet to refute any of the facts I laid out, except that you think a Jokic/Murray team with scrubs would be a bottom 2 Net Rating NBA team.

Don’t worry guys, Zion will get it together in year 6. I can feel it. We just need to run it back and get healthy

You just can’t fall apart every time you have injuries. Your club has to be mature and talented enough to win some games short handed. If you can’t do that, you’re not a very good team.

I think this also cost SVG his job. BI hated him but he also knew team was better with Zion. Willie probably took this job knowing he had to center yhis team around BI. Griffin is obsessed with BI, I mean BI was involved in designing the city jerseys. Hes not going anywhere unfortunately.

This is on coaching and the front office.

As I said in previous post in this thread and as has been said since his career started, Zion HAS to be pushed hard and when you push him hard that’s when you get peak Zion.

Sam Mitchell knew it and still harps on it on his SXM radio show, Coach K knew it and has said it multiple times, Stan knew it and still says it.

However when you have a front office that has had kid gloves on with him since the day he was drafted and now a coaching staff that can’t see you HAVE to play through him, this is what you get.

BI and Zion are playing, and we're a bottom 3 team in the entire NBA in Net Rating....

It’s not quite 2 to 1 and is definitely worse than that after tonight .

2 to 1 is not particularly good either.

Again if the expectation is that he is a borderline all star level player… fine . But if that’s the case this team is on the road to no where .

This is what I’m afraid of, but I’m hoping with Griff turning alot of decisions over to Trajan that Trajan can talk some sense into him.

As long as Trajan doesn’t have the same mindset as Griff
