Lmao I saw that
“Looking around seeing nobody in the stands, I could never play in a city like that, I need fans with passion”

I’ve always said the crowd plays a big part of why nobody wants to come here. Nobody wants to play in an empty building
And the sad part is that crowd he’s talking about on opening night was better than expected lol

I mean go look at attendance during the “Process” years under Hinkie.
The 76ers had less turnout than the Pels. Consistently near bottom of the league.
Winning changes cultures and winning changes fanbases. Same was true for the Saints in the era of paper bags and being able to find cheap seats all over the stadium.
Just win

Whenever the team wins, people show up. It’s always been the case. Look at the attendance the few times we’ve be in the hunt late in the season and when we’ve played in the playoffs. The place is packed and loud. Go rewatch that Rockets game when the team was on a 4-5 game win streak and Boogie tore his Achilles. It was rocking. And I mean shite we had 10,000 people in the building for a fricking practice two years ago.
The problem is this team consistently trips on its own dick and follows up every playoff run with 5 years of shitty uninspired play. You can’t expect people to care until you give them a reason to. Just frickin win.

Yep, I was at the first home game against Portland when Lillard learned who his really daddy was, the atmosphere rivaled some of the best Saints playoff games I’ve been to.
It was so loud, and so emotionally charged. The crowd was literally making it almost impossible for Portland to play.
The team needs sustained success and the crowds and energy will come.

Jesus. Did Jen get hotter in the offseason?

The crowds were really getting a lot better too before the pandemic shut everything down. Just need to get Zion back and start winning some games

It's really shocking. When he was drafted, almost all of us assumed that Herb would start the season in the G-League.
I still can't really believe it.
