Maybe we have a SF on our roster now. I haven’t seen much of his game the past couple years. Can he help us?

New Orleans is acquiring Clippers forward Wesley Johnson in a trade for center Alexis Ajinca, league sources tell ESPN. Clippers will waive Ajinca and guard Juwan Evans to get to 15 for opening night.

He isn’t the answer but he’s definitely worth more to this team than Ajinca and Hill

He's an expiring and he isn't a complete waste of space. Won't move the needle much but at least we've finally ridded ourselves of Asik and Ajinca.

Trash for trash. A shame we could not get Teodosic out of them with them being in a jam to shed a guaranteed contract.

We are also collecting trade pieces for later in the season.

considering ajinca hasn't played in 2 years and really wasn't a world burner to begin with - i'll take it

Yes, this is trading worthless trash for trash that can play for us.

He can at least contribute somewhat, at a position we are pretty desperate at.

Also an expiring as well so a trade chip for later in the year, at least for salary matching purposes.

this makes sense for us, given the difference in depth on the wing vs the frontcourt

Exactly. Sure this doesnt mean the Pels win the West, but this helps rid the team of unplayable bad contracts.

I wouldn't even go that far. But definitely more valuable than Ajinca, which makes this a good trade for us.
