Good. He's shown enough. Time to heal up and get ready to contribute this fall.

Will Guillory
@WillGuillory
I've been told the X-rays came back negative on Frank Jackson's left ankle sprain. It's swollen right now and he's considered day-to-day.

Yea I can def see him getting a two way contract with the way he shoots the ball.

If he develops he could replace Darius or Moore

Really underrating Moore

guy like Mack/Napier or Barea if he can be gotten would be a great addition
I thought I read something that said they wanted Frank to play and learn on the court, and didn't want too many guys that might take minutes from him.

Day to day? He won’t play the rest of the summer

I wonder if he and/or Carr look good enough, if that could open up the possibility of using Clark as a trade asset with his minimum contract....

If they look good enough in the SL they'll get two way contracts and basically never see the court outside of the G-League next year. Has zero bearing on Ian.

You can't pass on getting a vet PG and put all the eggs in the Frank Jackson basket when you have zero evidence that he can give you 70+ games.
Go get a vet like a Barea, Nappier, Mack, J Jack, etc. And then if Jackson is good, he beats them out and there is no harm, no foul. But if you don't get anyone and then bank on Jackson and he is just made of glass, then you have to try and find someone not terrible in season

Ian Clark?
Or not good enough to run the point?

I agree, and I'd like Mack. Did he opt out? I thought he was still under contract for one more year

You still need another. Clark and Jackson are both combo guards. Carr will never be a player in this league. So, you need at least one more guard who won't hurt you if you have to play him real minutes.

Yeah the magic waived him

Jamal Crawford or Jarrett jack would be my top two choices I feel like we need to vet to fill the void that rondo left.

No thanks. I want a real vet that I can trust when the young kids are making bonehead plays. I would not be looking for upside. Just steadiness. Barea, Shelvin Mack - guys like that. You can't try to develop and coach up developing guys at the same position, all at once. You need a guy or two who just are who they are.

Yeah ideally it'd look like this
PG: Mack(Barea or Jack)/Payton/Frank
SG: Jrue/Moore/Clark

SG: Jrue/Moore/Clark
