Been in the league for parts of four seasons now, and he's listed as a shooting guard, but he's shot 24% from 3 for his career and 25% last season.

I'm hoping this is for a two-way, because I don't see any value in signing him to a regular contract.

He's a very good onball defender.

He's have to be, as bad of a shooter as he is.

“Obviously, we’re gonna miss him,” Payton Pritchard said. “Jaden’s an unbelievable person. We loved him as a teammate. But hopefully he gets his opportunity and he can showcase what he’s capable of doing in this league. He’s an unbelievable player, unbelievable defender. I think there’s definitely a place for him in this league.”

Comments from Celtics after he was traded last season, FWIW.

Assuming a non-guaranteed deal for camp.

Springer is a promising young player. He didn’t get much playing time in Boston because of the loaded roster. As a Celtics fan I really do think he has potential to be a solid player.

Assume nothing with Dumars. We gave up an unprotected pick in next years draft to move up 10 spots.

It’s an Exhibit 9 deal for camp per Scotto

Typical. Should have given Springer an Exhibit 10 contract for the added flexibility if he performs. I have a feeling Dumars screwed up again.

What flexibility would that be? Springer isn't qualified for a two way contract.
