Getting back to front office and coaching stuff, Gerrson Rosas got hired to run the Timberwolves and Monty is expected to be the front runner for the Suns job.

I’m glad Rosas found a place willing to give him the control he wanted but the Wolves are in shite shape outside of having KAT.

Monty, OTOH? Props to him for getting a coaching job but his agent needs to negotiate a strong severance package on the front end.

I don't normally advocate guys holding out because there are so few coaching jobs in the NBA. Monty is better off waiting and letting teams think he is more valuable than maybe he really is.

Not saying Monty can't succeed in PHO but if it does not work out it may be his last HC job in quite a while.

The problem with Phoenix is that the whole situation is dysfunctional from top to bottom.

The main plus to being there is the training staff and we just poached their top guy.

Exactly

I'm not sure LA is in much better of a position either. Hell, Wait it out for pops to retire.

Monty will be a different philosophy to the Suns. They do have a lot of talent, but with the FO it is bad. Monty is good with young players. He is a calm force among so many impressionable players.

I wish him well. But I do agree, Phoenix has to be a better fit for Monty than it would be on the Lakers.

Pretty sure he is talking about percentages of getting Zion should we trade AD, with the Knicks specifically having a 15% shot.

Yes, I assumed so but it didn't appear to be in response to anything.

13.4... we’d trade AD for Ja Morant if NYK gets 2 pick?

Lol, ya never know. It is interesting of all numerical possibilities, it was 13.4 million. Maybe the stats lead was a good path.

Trajan Langdon's career 3 point percentage is 39.6%. Still trying to figure out the 13.4 connection.
