Helluva win last game, shite was almost PTAO-esque, now we have to take care of business.
Lost in all of this shite with the losing streak and our stock being down, is Zion. He's got to fricking take over from here on out. No one is coming to the rescue but him. He played one of the best games of his career, showed more bag than ever before, and now tonight, I hope he builds on it.
Pels by more than 12, Jesus Christ the Blazers suck and are sitting a lot of players.

If we lose this one, then you need to go 100% lower case letters for the rest of the season. Maybe even remove commas and periods.

Not much of a theory after years of proof. It has become law. I know all too well a string of wins means a string of losses and vice versa.

PTAO = "Pelicans Theory of Alternating Outcomes" (I think). I don't think that it's been the case for the past 4-5 seasons, but there was a stretch (in the Anthony Davis era) where the Pels were talented, but we frequently managed to win a game, and then lose the next game, regardless of the quality of opponent.

It’s been true every year to a certain degree. This year, good in away games and bad at home (compared to what would be expected) = PTAO
We’ve been the 2nd best road team in the west this year and we get to our final home stretch where we can clinch the playoffs and we go on a 5 game skid. That’s PTAO.

It was back during the Monty Williams days. We had a stretch of 10+ games where we alternated wins and losses. I don’t remember who but someone made a post calling it PTAO, Pelicans Theory of Alternate Outcomes. It got lots of attention, everyone thought it was hilarious. It’s like everyone was thinking it but nobody could put it into words, but whoever the poster was thought of the perfect joke. Good times, probably the most memorable individual post here ever along with Barons scary pels mascot and king cake baby gifs.
