They lost because Ingram couldn't throw it in the ocean.

6-22 and 3 missed FT in crunch time killed any chance the pels had

They started 1-11 from the 3pt line. This team will live and die by the 3. Gentry thinks we have 4 Stefs on this fricking team.

I mean even Steph has bad shooting nights---it happens. We are top three in 3s made so far so hey--thats just who we are. and even last night we still ended up shooting 38% from three. We lost this one on the defensive end and FT line

fricking A you guys blame EVERYTHING on Gentry. It’s his fault we shot poorly?

No, it’s his fault that his offensive philosophy is dribble the ball down the court as fast as you can and chunk up a contested 3.

Just shot poorly last night. Hoping it was just nerves and we’ll continue to be hot. No one was hurt so don’t want to see any names pop up on the injury list!

Didn't help that Aldridge was playing like it was 2011

Jaxson Hayes defended him better than favors

Favors didn’t look right on defense last night. I’m wondering if he is fighting through a nagging injury.

Considering that it was a game-day decision that his back wasn't hurting bad enough to keep him out, I'd say that he probably needs to sit out Friday and get that back healthy again. He wasn't himself.

Teams get hot and cold from 3. It happens. We are one of the best in % right now, so it’s working overall. We will absolutely have cold nights though, and that’s when we’ll need Zion to control the game and buy us baskets

To be fair, Aldridge hit many contested shots. Hats off to SA. They shot well even when under duress

You can’t just blame Ingram here. Aside from Zion, the whole team had a poor shooting night and an even worse defensive effort.

Have you watched the NBA? Every team jacks up 3s

Pels shots weren’t falling for a long stretch

PLUS. the Spurs have too much experience
that showed up at critical times, imo. From year to year they have solid, if not spectacular, pros who know how to win.

The good news is that the Pels with Zion will
develop and become much better. I’m
mildly disappointed but not devastated.

I think we would have won if they kept him in, but yes the shooting from Ingram was abysmal last night and the easy person to point to for the loss.

If you watched the game then you should know this isn't true. The first half they were feeding Zion in the post and he was hitting the open guys on time and on target and they were tossing up bricks. I didn't really see any bad 3's taken except maybe 1 or 2 but they were just extremely off. Ingram couldn't even make his pull up j's in the paint and he missed a few layups. Both Hart and Moore threw a couple of 3's where they didn't hit the rim. I am not a Gentry fan at all but this loss isn't on him.
