Just got home from the game here are my 2 cents.

AD is a man, ball needs to touch his hands more late in the game. I like when the ball goes through Jrue first. Give it to Reke when he is feeling it and let him penetrate. Asik played fine, he left a few baskets and rebound on the floor, but he is a huge asset for the Pels.

EG... Phew... I want him to play well, and I truly want to see him to succeed as a Pel(partly because we NEED him to play well). However, his minutes should decrease and the minutes he is on the floor with Jrue and Reke should be minimum. There will be better nights for Gordon, and the pels will be just finevif he can play at 1/3 the level his contract demands.

Very promising for the Pels I thought.. Game should have been over and the run they made in the 3rd was legit. Arena went nuts off that 3

Meh they are worse than probably the 3-4 team. Did you expect them to be the best in the west?

When we have teams on the ropes at home, we have to be able to deliver the knockout blow

Give the Pels time. It's Asik's second game with us, and Jrue and Ryno missed a ton of time last season. They're all vets, so they're not lost out there, but they still aren't used to playing together.

McNamara's write up of 3rd quarter

though he doesn't talk about the Pels' D that much.

Th area will support the team, they just have to be good. Give it some time, let the fans buy into this young team

Yeah I was at the game with a friend as well. That 3 in the third quarter was insane... I thought we were going to close the game after that, but then we lost energy it seemed.

And every time EG came in, boy did the fans around me get pissed... I seriously can't believe he didn't score once in 34 minutes. I just feel like EG doesn't even want to play here. He is showing zero effort.

Pels made their run when the cornerstone was on the bench

This is just absolutely false. Dude has been playing pretty damn good D, but hardly touches the ball on O as Evans does his best Brian Roberts impersonation.

You're seriously comparing Reke to Brian Roberts? That's stupid man. Reke is on a completely different level than that garbage... EG fricked up on easy wide open shots in the game when we needed him. The one good thing he did was pass the ball to a wide open player (I think it was either Jrue or Reke) who ended up getting the 3 on that play. That's it. Nothing else. We are talking about someone who is getting paid $14 mil this year to put up a fricken stat line of 0/1/1/0/0 with 2 PFs and 4 TOs. He was literally outplayed by both Rivers and Salmons in the game... And I could care less if he scores 30 tomorrow, he still isn't worth the contract for our team, especially when we have players that cost less and produce much more than him. Should have left his arse in Phoenix when we had the chance.
