Pelicans start NYD with the same number of wins as the Saints

If nothing else was known other than the title... I would be ecstatic about what I'd believe was a great Saints season & a coming postseason run...

That would also have me kinda meh on the Pelicans... hoping they could make a run to get solidly in playoff contention during the back half of the season

But on New Year's Day 2025... both the Saints & Pelicans start the day with just 5 wins each... FIVE... what a sad, current state of affairs for New Orleans' 2 professional sports teams

Accurate. I forget Charlotte because the panthers have the “Carolina” name

Even if the Saints were 16-0 that would be disappointing
