Evans can agree to sign the offer sheet, the Kings can still match it. Wants to give Kings every chance to make an offer better than N.O.

LOL why would they make him a 'better' offer? All they have to do is match the best offer. How is this dude an NBA writer?

A Kings fan just told me Carmichael Dave is not a very reliable ''source''. I would trust Stein here.

Leaning? No. Serious contender? Yes. Has he talked about playing out west and specifically mention USC? Yes.

Do I get to ask LF two questions before I answer?

ETA: if not LSU
But if I do and he answered not a big deal and it was cool
Then USC

Stein is as reputable as it gets. However as I said: believe nothing.

Agents manipulate the media to try and get the best deal possible.

@mr_jasonjones: FTR, Tyreke Evans is put off by lack of an offer, not being top priority, but not to the point he wouldn't play for the Kings.

Goodman and Stein are 2 respectable ESPN guys, i'll believe them until something says otherwise.

Garrett is coming to LSU, he would have already committed but staff wanted him waiting till summer for momentum, it's imminent

i like his game too but i'd rather a cheaper tyreke who hasn't even reached his prime yet rather than someone who has peaked out and may hurt us in a few years salary wise when he begins to decline. for us to draw him over here we'd have to give him a max deal he wouldn't come for less. with Denver willing to give him 5 year deal ours would have to be similar with more money. it's not worth it

Was just coming to post that. Even if their plan was to get FAs and then go over the cap to re-sign him (can they do that?), they would have at least told him something.
