Bynum supposedly said in exit interviews after last season that he wanted his own team. I think he might embrace a change of scenery. His knee still scares me though.

Bynum is tired of being the 4th option on the Lakers, you put him as the centerpiece of your offense and the dude will put up 35 points a game, Dwight Howard is only player in the league that can match up with him. Oh and he is only 23.

I know yall will complain about everything, but Bynum is a nice get. That deal was good enough to get Howard, but not Paul? lol

I dont mind Bynum. He's the 2nd best center in the league IF he can stay healthy.

Odom needs to be sent elsewhere though

It's not the same fresh start as Steph Curry but it's good value, WAAY better than Scola and Martin.

Bynum is young. And we have a pretty legit front court now, though I have to wonder if Oak will be dealt. Now let's get a SG that can score and I think we'll have an interesting team.

I'm curious to see what this team will look like with more trades and whatnot. Is J Jack going to be the starting point guard? Are we still trying to get someone like Marcus Thornton as that outside shooter?

Most definitely, otherwise he might get killed at practice.

Demps has been sending signals to suggest he has a place to send Okafor though.

Yeah I can't imagine Okafor staying here now. There's definitely some other deals going to happen. If Bynum can stay healthy, I like the deal. It's just such a wild card.

It's a decent enough deal, imo.

Better than the 3 way deal for Kmart and Scola.

Probably not as good as the Clipper/GSW deal, but GSW deal was done once Tyson Chandler signed with the Knicks. Clippers didn't want to include Gordon or Pick and started to waver.

Bynum and Odom is a decent haul. Will be interested to see if they grab some picks/are they able to dumb Okafor's contract as well.
