Miller!

Nice pass by Rivers and nice finish by Miller.
Rivers has looked pretty good passing so far. His offense has been lacking severely.

I'm 10 times more excited about him than I was coming in to tonight and I was already pretty excited.

It was supposed to be the other way around. His scoring will come when he gets comfortable. I think he's thinking to much about his new role.

Explosive Training frickers! Look it up.
Obviously genetics play a limiting factor to how fast or how high you can jump. i.e. he won't become russell westbrook.
BUT, becoming more athletic than his current form, is certainly possible.

Nice jump pass by Miller. He's looked pretty good tonight

He can improve but it's not like he's going to make leaps and bounds in those areas.
Exactly my point.

I agree. He already has some things like his quickness and attacking ability. He just needs to work on the shooting and decision making. He's struggled a bit tonight but everything I've seen from him shows that he can be good if he puts in the work.

No one is claiming he well be a completely different human being, but to say he can't become significantly faster and jump higher shows you have no idea what you're talking about.

One thing Rivers needs to figure out right now, literally this very second, is how to drive to the lane and either avoid the contact, or ensure when you do get bumped draw the foul.
He is clashing to the court too much as it is, but when he's driving getting hammered and no foul is being called he needs to change up something.

Bowles!
Are you talking about that dunk just now? That was Lance Thomas
Posted on 7/16/12 at 10:57 pm to Hazelnut
Looked to me like Bowles blocked the shot before, but the announcer said it bounced off the rim.

No shite he can make small gains. But the point is exactly what you said - he won't become Westbrook or Rose via explosive training. And he won't one day wake up and have court vision/awareness and creative ball handling like CP, Rondo or Nash.
God given talent trumps all. And you can usually see it right away, especially at the PG position in the NBA.
