He didn't have too many turnovers in the qualifying games.

He's a great athlete, and an asset on the boards rebounding the ball. But he can't shoot well at all, and he turned it over in international play as well.

He's just someone out there to defend and rebound, that is the limit to his game as of now.

Just saying the weight room can't help there either. Can't make him faster, jump higher or get taller.

I'm guessing you've never trained before?

Come on now

No matter how much I work out and train, my foot speed and vertical will never increase to a very noticeable difference. Can't fight DNA.

I gotta say, one thing Rivers does very well which you can't teach, is beat his man. Rivers has consistently lulled the defender to sleep and somehow gotten past them driving to the lane.

After that he needs experience. Improve your pull up/floater, or slow down and dish it off to an open big.

He needs some more reps and coaching to learn what to do in these situations.

Rivers will be motivated by the haters (haters hate on hate on)

Besides, the dude has shown to have a "killer app" three ball

Bowles definitely doesn't look as good as last night, but he has some nice moves to the rim.

He can improve but it's not like he's going to make leaps and bounds in those areas.

Yep, very good first step.

But it's what he does after that first step that leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully he can learn/improve quickly. Because as Sir Charles said - ball don't lie.

Rivers has found open people tonight, on the wings and beyond the arc. But no one on this team can hit deep jumpers it seems.
