I think they are all bench players at 14. I’m just hoping for a skill we maybe don’t have.

Best movement shooter since Hield. You can't complain if Lively, Dick, Bufkin, and Wallace are gone.

I do probably like all of these over Hawkins. But like Hawkins over many others

Pelicans received a meeting in recent days with Scoot Henderson. New Orleans has pursued a top 2-3 pick in the Draft but both Charlotte and Portland are so far expressing no interest in moving pick.

definitely guys with a lot higher ceilings that can shoot the 3 ball as well. Like I said he can space the floor which is nice but I just like other guys more

Scoot is becoming just one big tease and it’s depressing me

Love how aggressive we are. But please don’t be desperate pelicans.

Can’t argue with that. Hawkins is a really interesting case study. He plays and shoots in a way that is easy to see translating to the NBA. But if he doesn’t hit shots, it gets very difficult to see how he helps. Definitely other guys I prefer.

His gravity even when he miss shots will be valuable. You can't give him daylight even if he misses shots. He gives you spacing and movement. That creates chaos.

No chance they get a meeting unless there was real talk of moving up.

It’s not happening though.

And he brings absolutely nothing else. Hawkins would be a huge letdown at 14.

If you're just gonna take a guy that provides shooting and nothing else, you can trade to the end of the first round and get that. You don't take someone that limited in the lottery.

Hendricks, Walker, Lively or Dick would be my preference if one falls.

If not, I actually like Leonard Miller or Murray over Wallace or Bufkin. Though any of those guys might help.

Lol. He gives you a super elite skill. One where we desperately need. To say he's limited is pretty shortsighted. He has the most diverse 3 point shooting package in years. He's not sitting in one spot. There were a variety of plays, actions, and screen, movement that you can run with him.

Seems Brandon Miller will be at 2. He has went up to -1000 odds.

I’m glad you said Miller. I know many would be upset at 14, but man I think he would contribute for us as a backup 4 and would be a great asset. One of my biggest knocks of Griff is not having a real backup 4.

Murray over Wallace? Murray likely goes somewhere between 17-25, Wallace is going anywhere from 5-14.

Much higher ceiling with Wallace and more ready to contribute from day one. I'd be ecstatic if Wallace fell to us at 14, behind Dick he's the guy I'd want most.
